A good addition to the series back story

This was a good story AFTER I read some of the Lost Library novels. I don't think I would have cared for it if I'd read it first, however, even though it does come first in time. It tells of a single, major event in the history of the wolf pack and is interesting in that respect, but it would have been better, in my opinion, if it had been a bit longer and delved more deeply into some of the main characters.

Short but quickly involves you in the story and leaves you wanting to know what happens next.

This was very short , so it was hard to get a handle on it since I haven't read any of the Lost Lbrary books. But even though I wasn't familiar with the characters at first, I quickly got involved and I now want to know more about Logan & John, his nephew. What drove him to experience this Rage and what does he do next.

This was a high impact scene. It's short and pulls you in quickly. I loved the depth of the main character and the dilemma he had to face. It was a powerful piece that makes me very interested in reading the author's other stories in the Lost Library series.
