Karen Carver is a doctor who volunteers at a free clinic two days a week. The clinic is run by a local corporation, Gregory Industries. However, just as she is beginning to give in to the attraction she feels for him, she learns that he is not who she thinks he is. The accountant, it turns out, is actually Benton Gregory himself.
Karen was raised by a self-made man, a father with a quick temper. Karen has made it her goal not to be anything like her father. Therefore, when Benton asks her out to dinner in an effort to apologize for misleading her, she refuses. The last thing she wants is a man like her father in her life and that is exactly what Benton appears to be. It would be much easier to resist his constant advances, if he wasn't the most attractive man Karen has ever met.

Spicy love story

My favorite thing about this book are the characters. The female protagonist, unlike the female protagonist in many romance stories, is not some helpless bimbo who needs a man to complete her. She's a well-educated, well-rounded, independent lady with no apparent mental health problems and full use of her brain. The man, a dashing, handsome character who eventually sweeps her off her feet. Loved this book and can't wait to read the next books in the series!

The first part was good and it was free

The first part was good and it was free. So one can not complain about something that is free. It was about 80 pages if I remember correctly. I was going to get the second part, but did not because it was $2.99 for 40 pages and part three was the same. So that would be six dollars for not even 160 pages total. That is not a book. That is a short story, that should have been sold as one piece for 99 cents. That is my opinion. I did not read the other two portions but the reviews were not good.
